OREANDA-NEWS  A military plane crashed in the Belgorod region, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov said in the Telegram channel.

"A plane of the Ministry of Defense crashed in the Valuysky city district. The cause of the incident is being investigated. The situation is under control," he wrote.

According to the governor, an investigative team and emergency workers are working on the spot.
The pilot of the military aircraft managed to eject. Emergency services transmit information that he is alive. The Ministry of Defense denied this – the man died after receiving injuries incompatible with life during ejection.
