OREANDA-NEWS  The Sovereign Technologies Fund of the National Technological Initiative and the company-developer of unmanned aircraft systems "Transport of the Future" at the site of the design and educational intensive "Archipelago 2023" have created a fund for the development of this industry with a capitalization of 10 billion rubles, the company told RIA Novosti.

"In Novosibirsk, at the site of the Archipelago 2023 design and educational intensive, the Sovereign Technologies Fund of the National Technological Initiative and Transport of the Future have created a fund for the development of the unmanned aircraft systems industry with a capitalization of 10 billion rubles. The Foundation will be engaged in the selection and targeted support of domestic projects in the field of UAS. His work is designed for a period of 10 years. The first round of financing is expected to be made in October 2023," the company said.

"The beginning of active work on the national project on unmanned aircraft emphasized the need for cooperation in the UAS. We are talking about a fundamentally new and high-tech direction, with dozens of aspects of work, without which it will be impossible to build the UAS industry and fulfill the president's instructions on the organization of serial production and high-quality maintenance of thousands of UAS," said Yuri Kozarenko, General Director of Transport of the Future.

According to him, "this concerns both the production of components, service and programming, as well as the preparation of a regulatory framework, popularization and training of the profession, and so on."

Transport of the Future is an innovative company developing unmanned aircraft systems. Including an air taxi and a large cargo UAS with a take-off weight of up to 700 kilograms, which are undergoing flight tests. The company's vehicles can carry up to 200 kilograms of payload.
