OREANDA-NEWS By the end of 2023, the number of hacker computer DDoS attacks (distributed denial of service) on participants in the Russian credit and financial sector has decreased. Earlier, the regulator reported that by the end of 2023, cybercriminals stole a record 15.8 billion rubles from customers of Russian banks. This figure exceeded the previous maximum set in 2022 by 1.6 billion. In 12 months, financial organizations were able to prevent embezzlement of 5.8 trillion rubles. Despite this, the number of successful attacks by attackers increased by 33 percent over this period of time and amounted to 1.17 million.
