A criminal case has been opened on the disappearance of two DPRK citizens in Vladivostok

OREANDA-NEWS The investigative authorities of the TFR in Primorsky Krai have opened criminal cases on the fact of the unknown disappearance of 43-year-old Kim Kum Sun and 15-year-old Park Kwon Joo.
"The head of the department, A.I. Bastrykin, instructed the head of the SU for the Primorsky Territory, V.V. Fomin, to report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the established circumstances.The progress of the investigation has been put under control in the central office of the department," the TFR said in a statement.
As a law enforcement source told Kommersant the day before, a representative of the DPRK Consulate General in Vladivostok, Choi Yong Nam, filed a statement about the disappearance of his wife and son to the police.
"On June 4, they left the territory of the Consulate General of the DPRK at 12A Nevsky Street (in Vladivostok.— "Kommersant"), and to date their whereabouts are unknown" — such a message was posted on June 6 on the Internet resources of the public organization "Primpoisk", but then disappeared.
According to the diplomat Choi Yong Nam, Kim Kum Sun and Park Kwon Joo left the diplomatic mission building at 12 Nevsky St. in the morning of June 4 by taxi. Law enforcement officials have already found out that the DPRK citizens were taken to the Neptune cinema area on Russian St. by car, the driver of which was a citizen of Uzbekistan. The taxi driver's testimony is confirmed by video recordings from surveillance cameras.
