OREANDA-NEWS. In the course of the meeting with President of Switzerland Doris Leuthard, the parties agreed to speed up common steps in the investigation of crimes of former authorities and return of frozen assets that are now stored in Swiss banks.

"We agreed to speed up common steps in the investigation of crimes of former authorities and return of frozen assets that are now stored in Swiss banks. We defined clear schedule and coordination of cooperation of the Ministries of Justice and Prosecutor General’s Offices that must bring the results soon and return the money to Ukraine," the President said.

The Head of State added that the President of Switzerland had noted that the given money was necessary for Ukraine to maintain reforms.
