The presentation about international projects of Rosatom made by Kirill Komarov set the tone of the discussion. He noted that as of year-end 2016 the company's stock of orders for next 10 years surpassed $133 billion. «Rosatom shows great financial results, feels confident on the international market and has enough forces to fight for new projects implemented abroad», - said Kirill Komarov. He also added that the share of revenue from foreign projects surpassed 47% last year.
Efficient fund-raising and best practices were also discussed by the participants of the round table. They examined the examples of Fennovoima company (construction of NPP Hanhikivi-1 in Finland) and JSC Akkuyu Nuclear (construction of the first Turkish NPP). Both projects are implemented following the Russian 'build-own-operate' model. Representatives of the financial partners of Rosatom in foreign projects — VEB (Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs) and Gazprombank — also had the possibility to expresse their views. A separate part of the event was devoted to investments to the ROSATOM projects related to the development of renewable energy sources. During this part of the discussion the participants examined the ROSATOM programme aimed at creating first wind parks in Russia (with total capacity of 970 MWt).
