OREANDA-NEWS  About 6.5 billion rubles more will be allocated by the end of the year for the construction of dams, repair of hydraulic structures and cleaning of rivers, the press service of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev reported.

Patrushev took part in an expanded meeting of the Board of Rosvodresurs, where he outlined the main vectors of further development of the organization.

"I would like to note that over the past three years, with the support of the government, more than 50 kilometers of dams have been built, 137 hydraulic structures have been repaired and over 220 kilometers of riverbeds have been cleared. More than 23 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes. About six and a half billion more are planned for this year," Patrushev's press service quotes.

He noted that another important area of work of Rosvodresurs is the implementation of specialized activities of the national project "Ecology". According to him, the results have already had a positive impact on the quality of life of 17 million people.
