OREANDA-NEWS. According to the latest data of the operational headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus in the Russian Federation, the official number of COVID-19 cases in Russia increased by 21,608 oner the past day, and at the moment they are 1,858,568 cases of COVID-19.

The official statement from the headquarters says that over the past 24 hours in Russia, 21,608 cases of new coronavirus infection COVID-19 were recorded in 85 different Russian regions, including 5,571 cases of coronavirus infection without any clinical manifestations (this is 25.8% of the total sick in the country).

Experts add that for all the time the country has registered 1,858,568 cases of the disease. Thus, the growth rate now is 1.2%.

As for the situation in the Russian capital, according to the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in the capital, over the past 24 hours, 1,426 patients with COVID-19 have been hospitalized in Moscow, and 371 people are in bad condition on ventilator.

 Also in Russia a new anti-record for coronavirus was recorded. As reported to reporters in the operational headquarters to combat the spread of coronavirus, 439 deaths of people with COVID-19 were confirmed in the Russian Federation per day, 32,032 deaths from COVID-19 were registered for the entire time.

The largest number of deaths was habitually recorded in Moscow - 71 over the past day, another 68 deaths from coronavirus were recorded in St. Petersburg, 19 cases - in the Rostov region.

On the other hand, however, there is also a positive anti-rucord in this area. A record 18,811 people were discharged in the Russian Federation per day after COVID-19. The previous record for discharge was recorded the day before and amounted to 18 616 recovered.
