The European Commission has announced humanitarian and development funds in response to the influx of Rohingya refugees from Myanmar to Bangladesh. The European Union today co-hosted in Geneva a 'Pledging Conference on the Rohingya Refugee Crisis'.

The JMMC stated that based on the report of its JTC for the month of September 2017, OPEC and participating Non-OPEC producing countries have achieved a record high conformity level with the voluntary production adjustments, reaching 120%.

The EU leaders discussed the Union’s development over a breakfast meeting on Friday 20 October. The meeting was followed by a European Council meeting (Art. 50) where the EU leaders examined the state of the Brexit negotiations.
