The United Nations migration agency in Niger has saved more than 600 lives since April 2017 through a new search and rescue operation that targets migrants stranded in Sahara Desert, but 52 did not survive.

As of today Croatian police and security services have access to the Schengen Information System (SIS), which, according to Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, will improve the efficiency and credibility of Croatian police and security services networked with partner countries.

“The European Court of Justice is under huge pressure in the quota case; those with the intention of influencing the Court would like the body to dismiss the arguments put forward by Hungary and Slovakia”, Deputy Justice Minister Pál Völner said.
