OREANDA-NEWS   Twenty people (sixteen adults and four children) were hospitalized after visiting a cafe in the village of Leninskoye Jewish Autonomous district, the Prosecutor's office began checking, the regional Prosecutor's office said on Thursday.

On Thursday morning in the infectious diseases hospital of Birobidzhan were 15 people with symptoms of acute intestinal infection after visiting a cafe in the village of Leninskoye, including several children.

"On October 9, 2018, the office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Jewish Autonomous district received  information about cases of acute intestinal infection after visiting a cafe in the village of Leninskoye. According to preliminary data, 20 people were hospitalized in the infectious diseases hospital, including four children with signs of acute intestinal infection. Their condition is assessed by doctors as satisfactory. People are provided with the necessary medical care, " the report said.

It is noted that the Prosecutor's office of the region immediately organized a check on the fact of mass poisoning of people. To the verification by experts of Rospotrebnadzor of the Jewish Autonomous district.

At the same time, the investigative Department of the Russian criminal investigation department in the region organized a pre-investigation check.

"All the circumstances of the incident, the causes of poisoning, compliance with sanitary and epidemiological legislation, issues of supply and sale of food products are established," the Prosecutor's office reports.

The court in the Jewish Autonomous region closed for 90 days a cafe in the village of Leninskoye, where 20 people were poisoned. This reported in the office of Rospotrebnadzor in the region.

"The court supported the claim of Rospotrebnadzor for the Jewish Autonomous district, the cafe is closed for 90 days," said the head of the Department Pavel Kopylov.

Doctors assess the condition of the victims as satisfactory.
