OREANDA-NEWS Russian air defense units repelled another UAV attack from Ukraine in the Crimea. According to the Ministry of Defense, on Tuesday morning, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked Crimea with the help of 17 drones.

"On the morning of November 7, an attempt by the Kiev regime to commit a terrorist attack using seventeen aircraft-type UAVs on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped," the defense ministry said.

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that nine UAVs were shot down and eight more intercepted over the Black Sea and over the territory of Crimea.

Earlier it was reported that the AFU attempted to attack the peninsula with six aircraft-type UAVs, one of them was shot down by air defense forces over the Black Sea, five more were intercepted over the territory of Crimea. And at the end of October, the APU tried to strike Crimea with Storm Shadow cruise missiles, the attack was repelled.

Recall that the attacks on the Crimea are connected with the APU's attempt to take revenge and conduct a so-called counteroffensive, it ended in failure, as stated by the commander-in-chief of the APU Valery Zaluzhny himself.
