OREANDA-NEWS On the night of May 9, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), shells, and one drone from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were shot down by air defense systems in the sky over the Belgorod region. This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense on their Telegram channel.

Two more drones were destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region, and three drones were shot down over the Kursk region, according to the defense ministry.

Earlier, Valentin Demidov, the mayor of Belgorod, published a video showing the aftermath of the attack on his city. According to updated information, 34 apartments in 19 apartment buildings and one private house were damaged, as were 37 cars, nine of which were completely destroyed.
