UEFA Disqualified Ukrainian Football Player for Doping
OREANDA-NEWS. The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) disqualified Artem Besyedin, forward of Dynamo (Kiev) and the Ukrainian national team, for one year because of breaking the anti-doping rules.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian club. This decision was made following a hearing of the UEFA Appeals Body. The athlete was temporarily suspended from participation in the competition on December 19, 2019; the period of disqualification of a 23 year old football player will be counted from this date. The case was examined under an expedited procedure without preliminary consideration by the Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body of the UEFA at the request of Besyedin himself.
It is known that after analysis the document, the football club Dynamo will decide on a possible appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
