OREANDA-NEWS  German Thomas Tuchel took over as head coach of the England national team. This is reported by the press service of the Football Association of England.

The 51-year-old specialist will start working in January next year.

In this position, he replaced Gareth Southgate, who left the national team at the end of the 2024 European Championship.

Tuchel's previous place of work was Bayern Munich. He headed it in the spring of 2023, the same year the team won the German championship. At the end of the previous season, Tuchel left this team.
