OREANDA-NEWS  Vasyl Mikhailov, an athlete from Ukraine who won a bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championships, refused to take a joint photo with Russian Ahmed Usmanov, who became the winner of the tournament. The rest of the medalists climbed to the podium, but the Ukrainian did not, correspondents from the scene reported.

"Vasily Mikhailov (weight category up to 79 kg) refused to be photographed with Russian Ahmed Usmanov at the award ceremony within the framework of the 2023 World Championship. Usmanov won the competition, winning the first gold for Russia at this championship," Sport24 reports.

The World Cup in Belgrade (Serbia) ended on September 24. Tickets for the Olympics are being played here. For the first time in two years, athletes from Russia and Belarus were allowed to participate in the competition. They perform on it in a neutral status.
