The Russians won five gold medals at the World Boxing Championship

OREANDA-NEWS Russian boxers won five gold, two silver and one bronze medals at the World Championship among athletes aged 17-18 in Montenegro.
Vyacheslav Rogozin (up to 54 kg), Platon Kozlov (up to 60 kg), Ruslan Shikhmambetov (up to 80 kg), Snezhana Kuznetsova (up to 52 kg) and Diana Sixtus (up to 54 kg) won gold medals.
Alexey Gukov (up to 71 kg) and Kamil Dzhamaev (up to 86 kg) became silver medalists, Sofia Dushina (over 81 kg) won bronze.
Russians performed under the flag and anthem of the Russian Federation.
The total prize fund of the tournament was $500 thousand.
The World Championship was organized by the International Boxing Association (AIBA).
