OREANDA-NEWS  Russian tennis player Diana Schneider, in an interview with the Bet Boom Tennis YouTube channel, told what she wants to spend the prize money for winning silver medals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

"I don't have something that I want to spend this amount somewhere right away, mostly it just lies in a bank account. I will spend some rest next year," the athlete said. She noted that she consults with her parents about spending.

Earlier, Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports and head of the Russian Olympic Committee, said that Schneider, along with Ira Andreeva, would be awarded for winning silver medals at the 2024 Olympics.

Andreeva and Schneider took second place in the women's doubles. In the final of the tournament, they lost to the Italians Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani. The athletes were the only ones out of 15 Russians who participated in the competition who managed to win medals.
