OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian goalkeeper of the Tampa Bay Lightning club Andrey Vasilevsky won the 300th career victory in the regular championships of the National Hockey League (NHL) and set a record. This is reported on the team's website.

Tampa beat Winnipeg Jets by a score of 4:1. Brandon Hagel and Anthony Cirelli scored as part of the winners, as well as Jake Guentzel, who scored a double. Adam Lauri scored for Winnipeg. Vasilevsky blocked 24 shots out of 25.

The Russian became the 40th goalkeeper with 300 wins in the NHL. It took him 490 games to do that, which is the best record in the league.

Vasilevsky, 30, has been playing for Tampa since 2014. As a member of the team, he won the Stanley Cup in 2020 and 2021.
