OREANDA-NEWS  Russian goalkeeper of the Florida Panthers Sergey Bobrovsky has set a record in the National Hockey League (NHL). This is reported on the tournament's website.

Bobrovsky was the fastest to win 400 NHL games. This happened in the regular season match against the New York Rangers, which ended 3-1 in favor of Florida. He became the 14th goalkeeper in history and the first Russian to achieve this achievement. It took him 707 matches to do that.

"The moments when you put on your uniform and go out to play in the NHL, it's so special. Not many people can go through this. I appreciate it and cherish it. I want to be in the best shape to make the most of it," Bobrovsky shared. He added that he still enjoys playing like a little kid.

Bobrovsky has been playing for Florida since 2019. In June 2024, he and the team won the Stanley Cup.
