OREANDA-NEWS. Experts of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics named «Tottenham» coach Jose Mourinho as the best coach of the XXI century. The organization has compiled a classification based on the results of it's annual coaching ratings. The list includes specialists who were in the top 20. The coach who took the first place in one of the years was awarded 20 points, the second – 19, and so on.

Mourinho, also known for his work with «Manchester United», «Chelsea», «Real Madrid», «Inter» and «Porto», scored 226 points. The second place was taken by the head coach of the German national team Joachim Loew (213 points). The third place was shared by the former «Manchester United» coach Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola, who heads «Manchester City» and worked with «Barcelona» and «Bayern Munich» (183).

The top ten also included Arsene Wenger (181 points), Carlo Ancelotti (165), Vicente del Bosque (157), Diego Simeone (152), Didier Deschamps (131) and Marcelo Bielsa (121).

Jose Mourinho is the son of football goalkeeper and coach Felice Mourinho. Many experts, football players and coaches call him one of the greatest coaches in modern football. Since 20 November 2019, he has been the head coach of English club «Tottenham».
