OREANDA-NEWS. The German manufacturer of gloves Kinetixx terminated the contract with the skier Alexander Bolshunov. This was reported to VG by a representative of the company, who was dissatisfied with the participation of the athlete in the rally concert.

“It was crazy. I have no words. He has shown himself to be a supporter of Putin, and this is completely unacceptable. We distance ourselves completely from this,” Kinetixx marketing manager Helmut Ganus said.

He also noted that in the future the company no longer plans to cooperate with Bolshunov and other Russian athletes.
In addition to Bolshunov, manufacturer Kinetixx has worked with several Russian biathletes and the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR).

Bolshunov took part in a rally-concert, which took place on March 18 at Luzhniki (Moscow). In addition to him, other Russian Olympians also took part in the event: figure skaters Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov, swimmer Evgeny Rylov, gymnasts Dina and Arina Averina and many others.

Recall that the International Ski Federation (FIS) has decided to suspend Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competitions until the end of this season. Despite this, Bolshunov was able to keep second place in the overall World Cup standings.
