OREANDA-NEWS  Zenit has reached an agreement with Brazilian Corinthians on the transfer of forward Pedro to the Russian team, the press service of the St. Petersburg football club reports.

"The blue-white-blues have exercised the right of pre-emptive redemption of the player, the Brazilian striker will join the Petersburgers upon reaching the age of 18," the message says. Now the footballer is 17 years old, he will reach adulthood on February 9, 2024.

Pedro started playing football at the academy of Corinthians at the age of 9, signed a full-fledged contract with the club in March 2022. The striker has four matches and one goal in the Brazilian youth national team, as well as eight games and two goals in the youth national team.
