OREANDA-NEWS  Russian athletes have won 418 medals in nine competitive days as part of the BRICS Games taking place in Kazan.

Among them are 212 gold, 123 silver, and 83 bronze awards. The Russian national team, which performs under the state symbols of the Russian Federation, previously secured the final first place in the overall standings.

Belarus is in second place (46, 66, 87), and the Chinese national team is in third place (19, 18, 13).

The competition will end on June 23.
