OREANDA-NEWS The Russian biathlon team won a single mixed relay at the European championship, held at the Republican Olympic training center for winter sports "Raubichi" 20 km from Minsk. Gold was won by Evgenia Pavlova and Dmitry Malyshko.

At the first stage Pavlova took the lead after the second shooting. At the second stage, Malyshko did not use any additional cartridge and retained the advantage.

In the third segment of the distance Pavlova earned a penalty lap in the prone shooting and rolled back to the seventh position. "Rack" it passed without mistakes, having risen on the third position. The European championship in Raubichi was launched on the eve of the individual races. Bulgarian biathlete Krasimir Anev won in men.
