OREANDA-NEWS  Russian tennis player Mira Andreeva defeated the representative of Kazakhstan Elena Rybakina in the semifinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Dubai.

The result of the meeting – 6:4, 4:6, 6:3 in favor of a 17-year-old Russian woman.

Andreeva is ranked 14th in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, while Rybakina is ranked seventh in the world.

In the final, the Russian will play with the winner of the pair Klara Towson (Denmark, 38) – Karolina Mukhova (Czech Republic, 17).

The prize fund of the tournament is over $3.6 million.
