Russian Figure Skater Usacheva Injured During Warm-up and Withdrew from NHK Trophy

OREANDA-NEWS. Russian figure skater Daria Usacheva was injured during a warm-up before the short program at the Japanese Grand Prix.
The skater entered a triple flip, but when repulsed, she probably felt pain, made a butterfly and fell. After that, she drove up to Eteri Tutberidze, burst into tears, after which the team doctor Philip Shvetsky carried her away from the rink in his arms.
Later, the arena announced that Usacheva was withdrawn from the competition. Usacheva is the only Russian figure skater to compete in single skating at the NHK Trophy.
Daniil Gleikhengauz, coach and choreographer of the group Eteri Tutberidze reacted to Daria Usacheva's injury during the warm-up before the short program at the Japanese Grand Prix stage.
