OREANDA-NEWS. Popular MMA fighter Paige van Zant on the eve of her debut in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, staged a fight at the weigh-in with her rival Britaine Hart. She explained her action by saying, that Hart had come too close to her in the duel of looks. Paige van Zant pushed her away with a chokehold. In response, Hart shouted insults and said, that her opponent had confused the sport and the strangulation is allowed only in MMA.

MMA fighter agreed with this. «Oops, I forgot for a second what kind of sport I'm in!» — wrote van Zant on his page in Instagram.

The match between van Zant and Hart will take place tomorrow, February 6, and will be the main event of the BKFC KnuckleMania tournament. The fight will be held in the weight category up to 57 kg. This will be the first fight for van Zant in the new promotion after leaving the UFC.
