Medvedev reached the third round of the US Open

OREANDA-NEWS Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has reached the third round of the 2024 US Open.
In the second round meeting, which took place on the night of Friday, August 30, the Russian beat Hungarian Fabian Marojan, the meeting lasted three sets and ended with a score 6:3, 6:2, 7:6 (7:5) in favor of Medvedev.
The Russian is ranked fifth in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Marozhan is on the 51st line.
In the next round, Medvedev will play with the 31st racket of the world, Italian Flavio Kobolli. He defeated Belgian Zuzu Bergs in the second round (80th place in the ATP rankings).
