OREANDA-NEWS. Norwegian skier Johannes Klebo won the classic style sprint at the World Championships in Oberstdorf.
Klebo showed a time of 3 minutes 1.30 seconds. His compatriots Eric Valnes (0.66 seconds back) and Howard Taugbel (+0.80) took the second and third places. Alexander Bolshunov (+5.92) finished fourth. Another representative of Russia Sergey Ustyugov (+17.41) came in fifth.
Gleb Retivykh finished the fight at the semi-final stage. Alexander Terentyev was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
His compatriots Eric Valnes and Howard Taugbel became the second and third respectively. Russian athlete Alexander Bolshunov could finish fourth.
