OREANDA-NEWS   Eli Kadyrov, the son of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, will make his debut in professional mixed martial arts (MMA). This is reported in a press release.

The 16-year-old athlete will perform at the Absolute Championship Akhmat (ACCA) promotion tournament in Moscow on December 23. His opponent will be Islam Akbarov. The duel will last three rounds. Kadyrov Jr.'s second will be the Swedish MMA fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev, who performs in the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC).

The meeting will take place within the framework of the ACA 150 tournament, which will be held at the CSKA Arena. Artem Reznikov and Andrey Koshkin will meet in the main fight of the evening. Evgeny Goncharov and Mukhumat Vakhaev will meet in the co-main match.

In November 2021, Eli Kadyrov fought according to the rules of boxing with the representative of North Ossetia Khetag Khatkarov. The Chechen athlete won by technical knockout.
