"The information that Paolo held a meeting with the management of Spartak and announced his intention to leave the club is not true. He remains in Russia and continues to work with the team," D'Amico said.
In addition, Spartak sports director Luca Cattani told RIA Novosti that he would continue to work with the club, despite the tense situation between Russia and Ukraine. "I will continue to work at Spartak," Cattani said.
Earlier, Match TV reported that the leadership of Spartak met with the coaching staff of the team, the parties discussed the current situation in the world, but intend to continue working at the football club.

Vanoli took over the team in December last year, replacing Portuguese Ruy Vitoria. Cattani has also been working at Spartak since December.
