OREANDA-NEWS  Russian national team midfielder Alexander Golovkin has been recognized as the best player for Monaco in March, according to the club's social media accounts. Last month, the midfielder played in four matches in the French league, starting each time and providing two assists. This month, Golovkin was named Player of the Month for Monaco for the fourth time this season, following previous awards in September, October, and November.

Golovkin joined Monaco in 2018 after being sold by CSKA Moscow to the French club for 30 million euros following the World Cup. So far this season, he has scored six goals and provided six assists in 24 league games.
