OREANDA-NEWS. Former FC Spartak president Andrey Chervichenko urged to forget about the World Cup-2022. He believes that the Russian national team, which found itself in the joints after losing in the decisive selection match, will not be selected for the tournament. His words are quoted by the «Championship».
«There is a cycle of American films “Mission Impossible” – it's about us. Chances? We had it. Now the chances are three or four times less than they were in the match with Croatia. We need to forget about the World Cup and take for granted that we are not going anywhere», Chervichenko said.
