OREANDA-NEWS  SKA has terminated the contract with striker Evgeny Kuznetsov, the press service of the St. Petersburg hockey club reports.

The agreement has been terminated by mutual consent.

The 32-year-old hockey player became a SKA player before the start of the 2024/25 season. In 39 KHL regular season matches, he scored 37 (12+25 in the goal+pass system) points. In six playoff matches, 3 (1+2) points were scored; this was not enough for SKA to reach the second stage.

Kuznetsov is a two–time world champion in the Russian national team, winner of the Stanley Cup with Washington.
