OREANDA-NEWS Italy and Turkey will host the 2032 European Football Championship. This was announced by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) on the website.

The host countries were approved at a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee. Russia was another contender for the tournament, but the application was rejected in May 2022 as non-compliant.

The current European champion is the Italian national team. The team won the tournament in 2021, which was held in ten countries — Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Russia and Romania.
