OREANDA-NEWS. The authorities of the Jewish Autonomous Region have introduced an emergency situation throughout the region due to the approach of the crest of the flood on the Amur River, which is shifted from the Amur Region.  This is reported on the website of the government of the region.

 It is noted that materials for dumping dams, medicines and products are being delivered to the districts. Water-filled dams were brought to Leninsky and Oktyabrsky districts of the region, which will be installed if necessary.

 In all municipalities, there are also commissions for assessing possible damage to property of citizens.  It will be assessed accordingly and adequately with the provision of photo and video reports to confirm payments to the affected population.

 Over the past day on the Amur River within the region there was an increase in water levels from 28 to 58 cm.  with the release of water to the floodplain at Pashkovo settlements (66 cm), Leninskoye (77 cm), Nizhnespasskoye (67 cm), at the Nagygovo settlement, the water level reached the mark of an unfavorable phenomenon and exceeds them by 66 cm.
