Elizaveta missed the Russian Cup stage due to a positive coronavirus test. But now the athlete is feeling well, as reported on her page on the social network.

Elizaveta Tuktamysheva will perform at the Russian Figure Skating Championship to be held in Chelyabinsk. Alena Kostornaya also announced her participation in the national championship. Evgeny Medvedeva will not be able to go on the ice.

The day before, 21-year-old figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva announced that she had missed the Russian championship. Two-time world figure skating champion Evgenia Medvedeva called this season the most difficult in his sports career.

Medvedeva spoke about her health. She had back problems in the fall, severe pain, due to which she missed more than a month of training. As a result, she had to spend a lot of time in clinics. After improving her back, Medvedeva returned to the training regime, after which she again became very ill.

The skater admitted that it was a coronavirus. She said that she was hospitalized with serious lung damage. As a result, she missed most of November and early December. Now Medvedeva is more or less healthy. The skater came out on the ice only on December 8. She plans to train and prepare for the next tournaments, for the season. She hopes that her health will not bother her.
