OREANDA-NEWS. The explosion at the territory of military range in the Arkhangelsk region two persons were lost, have informed in the Ministry of defense. Another six were injured, they were sent to medical facilities.

After the explosion started a fire. The defense Ministry assured that hazardous emissions are not marked and the radiation background is normal.

The emergency helicopter flew the aircraft from Arkhangelsk with two teams on Board. All the hospitals of the regional center was put on high alert. Three victims were taken to the medical unit of Federal medical-biological Agency.

To evacuate the population of nearby settlements after the incident began, said the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Igor Orlov.
