As the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Chelyabinsk Region told TASS, the stands of the Chelyabinsk Ice Sports Palace "Tractor" during the Russian Figure Skating Championship will be able to accommodate up to 35% of the spectators. The tournament itself will be held with the strictest observance of sanitary and epidemiological standards caused by the situation with the spread of the coronavirus.

The Russian Figure Skating Championship will be held in Chelyabinsk from December 24 to 26. The guests and participants of the tournament will begin arriving on December 22, and their departure is scheduled for December 28.

The press service said that the competitions as part of the figure skating championship will be held in compliance with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, the strictest sanitary measures will be taken there. Tournament accreditations will only be issued if a negative coronavirus test is found. The occupancy of the stands will be no more than 35 percent of the capacity of the Traktor arena, that is, about 2,300 people for each type of program.

The first batch of tickets for the Russian Championship went on sale on November 9, and was sold out in two days. On December 7, a new batch of tickets for the sporting event including the opening ceremony of the competition, which will be held on December 24, went on sale.
