As reported by the TASS agency with a link to the RUSADA press service, inspectors of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) in October 2020 recorded 18 violations by athletes of the rules of accessibility for testing. In September, 18 violations were also recorded, and in August 13 violators were identified. In just 10 months of 2020, 158 such violations were identified.

According to the World Anti-Doping Code, all professional athletes included in the doping testing pool are required to indicate their whereabouts in their profile in the ADAMS control system at a certain period of time. Athletes may be disqualified for up to four years in the event of a three-time accessibility violation within 12 months.

In 2019, RUSADA recorded 312 violations of the rules of accessibility for testing (239 - missed tests, 73 - failure to provide information on whereabouts). In 2018, 349 violations of accessibility for testing rules were processed, while 84 cases were not recognized as such. In 2017, 173 violations were identified (150 were recognized).

12 Russian athletes are currently serving disqualifications for violating accessibility rules. Among them are biathlete Margarita Vasilyeva and Olympic diving champion Ilya Zakharov.
