Yandex topped the rating of the most expensive companies on the Runet in 2023

OREANDA-NEWS The total value of the 30 leaders of the Runet for the year decreased by $ 14 billion, or about a quarter. Topped the ranking of the most expensive companies on the Runet in 2023, according to Forbes magazine, Yandex. The second and third lines were taken by Wildberries and Ozon.
The cost of Yandex decreased by 1.7 times over the year: from $17.4 billion in 2022 to $10.2 billion in 2023. The value of Wilberries for the year increased from $7.6 billion to $9.8 billion. The Ozon marketplace also rose from $4.7 billion to $5.2 billion, regaining the third place. The cost of Avito has almost doubled and the service has dropped from the third to the sixth position.
In addition, the top 10 most expensive companies included 1C (including 1C-Bitrix), Kaspersky Lab, SKB Konkur, VK, Positive Technologies and Headhunter.
Forbes clarifies that the past twelve months have been very successful for Russian marketplaces — the turnover of all leaders has almost doubled. The only exception was AliExpress Russia. It turned out to be a good year for Russian developers, the publication points out: companies have more than doubled in price, which "fits perfectly into the picture of the departure of Western solution providers from Russia and the redistribution of the market among domestic ones."
Earlier, Yandex reported financial results for the fourth quarter and the whole of 2022. The company's total revenue in the fourth quarter increased by 49% year-on-year and amounted to RUB 164.8 billion. By the end of 2022, Yandex's revenue increased by 46% to 521.7 billion rubles.
