OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian government will allocate an additional almost 3 billion rubles to nine regions for the construction of highways, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"We will send about 3 billion rubles to bring highways and structures into a standard condition. Within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality Roads", the budgets of nine Russian regions will receive funds this year," Mishustin said at a meeting with deputy prime ministers.

As specified in the Russian Cabinet, the funds will be sent to Mordovia, North Ossetia, Tatarstan, Arkhangelsk, Vladimir, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Sverdlovsk, and Ulyanovsk regions.

"The decision will help accelerate construction in the regions, including the reconstruction of the bridge in North Ossetia, the construction of the Rpensky Passage in Vladimir and the overpass across the Insar River in Mordovia," Mishustin stressed.
