OREANDA-NEWS  The share of Russians with a monthly income above 100 thousand rubles increased by the end of 2023 to 11.4%, the maximum value for the entire time of statistics, follows from an analysis by RIA Novosti of Rosstat data.

Thus, the share of Russian citizens whose incomes exceeded 100,000 rubles per month in 2023 rose to a record 11.4% from 8.3% a year earlier. This jump was the maximum for the entire time of statistics.

In general, in 2023, the incomes of Russians showed growth. Thus, 18.5% of citizens had incomes from 60 to 100 thousand rubles, while a year ago they were 16.2%. At the same time, the proportion of those whose incomes ranged from 45 to 60 thousand rubles increased by 0.6 percentage points, to 14.4%.

The number of Russians with incomes of up to 45 thousand rubles decreased by 6 percentage points, to 55.7%. At the same time, 26.2% (-1 percentage point) received from 27 to 45 thousand rubles, 19-27 thousand - 13.8% (-1.7 percentage points), 10-19 thousand - 12.5% (-2.5 percentage points), and up to 10 thousand rubles - 3.2% (-0.8 percentage points).

According to Rosstat, real disposable incomes of the population increased by 5.8% in 2023.
