OREANDA-NEWS 45% of Russians do not have enough salaries to meet basic needs, according to an online recruiting survey hh.ru . Another 36% of respondents have a salary that hardly covers basic needs. In 2021, there were 25% and 39% of those who lacked and barely had enough wages, respectively.
The survey was conducted on October 2-13 among 4,934 Russian employees and job seekers. The results are provided by RBC.
20% of respondents said that their salary allows them to buy everything they need. In 2021, there were 36% of them. Dissatisfied with the salary, the survey participants reported how much they do not have enough to cover their needs. 56% of respondents estimated the amount at more than 20 thousand rubles, 23% — up to 20 thousand rubles, 21% — 15 thousand rubles.
Most often, Moscow (26%), Tomsk Region (24%), Tatarstan and Primorsky Krai (23% each) said that they had enough wages.
The October review of the Bank of Russia records a frontal deterioration in the estimates of the provision of Russian companies with employees in all sectors — the indicator has reached a minimum since the beginning of observations in 2020. What is happening may be a consequence of the deceleration of real wages growth detected by the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis and Short-term Forecasting in the October macro survey.
