OREANDA-NEWS  Venezuela is ready to accept investments and deepen its alliance with Russia in all areas of politics and business, President of the Latin American country Nicolas Maduro said during a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazan.

"On November seventh, a meeting of the intergovernmental commission - the mixed Russian-Venezuelan commission - will take place. We have a very complete map, we are making progress on many issues. Venezuela has managed to restore its economy on its own, there are very positive indicators of economic growth, investment, and victory over inflation. And, as you know, we are ready to continue to accept Russian investments in Venezuela, to continue to strengthen our trade, to continue to strengthen the alliance between the business community in all areas and to strengthen our alliance with great Russia in all areas of politics," Maduro said.
