OREANDA-NEWS The prices for the purchase by collectors of overdue debts of citizens to microfinance organizations (MFOs) in the third quarter reached a maximum since the beginning of the year, and the volume of debt sales recovered after the crisis of 2022, follows from the data of the National Association of Professional Collection Agencies (NAPCA). If in the first quarter the average price of a cession, assignment of rights of claim to a third party, was 13.6% of the total amount of debt, then in the second it increased to 15.1%, and in the third it already reached 18.3%.

The total amount of transactions made in the cession market for the first nine months reached 47.2 billion rubles, which is 5 billion rubles more than the same period in 2022, but then from March to the end of May, trading was practically not conducted.
