The Central Bank cancelled the license of American Express Bank

OREANDA-NEWS The central bank has cancelled the license of American Express Bank from today, according to the regulator's website.
"The basis for revoking the license of American Express Bank LLC was a petition from a credit institution sent to the Bank of Russia in connection with the decision of the sole participant on its voluntary liquidation," the release says.
According to the Central Bank, American Express Bank was ranked 300th in the Russian banking system. He did not participate in the deposit insurance system.
A liquidator will be appointed to the credit institution, the Central Bank added.
