The main owner of Archpley Development is a businessman and the son of the Prosecutor General of Russia, Igor Chaika, is the business ambassador of the Business Russia association in Moldova and Transdniestria.

Igor Chaika confirmed to the Russian media that Alexander Dodon entered the capital of Archpley Development, refusing to disclose the terms of the deal. According to the entrepreneur, the company will be engaged in the implementation of construction projects only in Russia, “Archpley” doesn't plan to work in Moldova. “Sites will be determined in September, now they are at the stage of their purchases and work on the preparation of permits”, said Igor Chayka. According to him, Alexander Dodon will be responsible for the construction division in Archpley.

The main activity, according to SPARK, is business and management consulting. The company plans to build 1 million square meters of residential real estate comfort and business class in Moscow and the Moscow region in the medium term. Igor Chaika is the owner of Russian Export and First Russian Cross-Border International Trading Ltd (FRC, owns the Dakaitaow platform). Among the main assets of a businessman is the recycling operator Charter and Betaltrans, the largest producer of concrete sleepers in Russia.

Chaika supervises the work of the Russian-Moldavian Economic Council. In February, he became aware of his participation in the operation to liberate Moldovan pilots Lionel Barayane and Mihai Crihan from the Taliban captivity, in which they had been stationed since November 2015.
