OREANDA-NEWS  The Bank of Russia has identified the main directions of financial market development for 2023-2025 and sent a document to the President and the government. In the future, the regulator plans to discuss it at parliamentary hearings in the State Duma.

The Central Bank called this document a key one on the development of the domestic financial market. He considers the increasing role of the financial market in the transformation of the Russian economy, the transformation of the system of foreign trade payments and settlements, digitalization and improvement of the payment infrastructure as priorities.

"The structural transformation of the economy will be associated with significantly increased investment needs, which may vary significantly by industry and region. In order to solve this problem, it is planned to focus on strengthening the role of the capital market in business financing," the Central Bank noted.
